Hello and a warm welcome to les trois chênes and the village of Lanespede. This has been home to Ellen, her mum Eileen and husband Martin since late June 2005.

Lanespede is located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department of the Midi-Pyrénées region in South West France, Tarbes being the closest main town with motorway access, only 15 minutes away.

We moved to France speaking very little French, but Martin is now enrolled on a french course and is making great progress ! The property was acquired by us when we moved from. Co. Westmeath in the Republic of Ireland, where we ran a B&B for 2 years.

Les trois chênes was a traditional 18th century French village ironworks and the original courtyard layout remains today. It was extensively converted in the 1970’s to form self-contained gîtes and bed&breakfast accommodation.
